What Is MEP Design?
MEP stands for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing — the engineering systems that make a building functional, safe, and habitable. In the UAE's construction sector, MEP design encompasses far more than the three core disciplines: it includes HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical power and lighting distribution, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and fire suppression systems, and increasingly, Building Management System (BMS) integration. Our designs are produced within an ISO 19650 BIM workflow using Autodesk Revit MEP, clash-detected in Navisworks, and submitted in formats accepted by DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority), Dubai Civil Defence, Abu Dhabi ADDC (Abu Dhabi Distribution Company), and other relevant authorities.
