Automatically: IP address (hashed and used solely for rate-limiting), browser type, OS, pages viewed, referrer, approximate location.
We do not collect government IDs, financial data, sensitive personal data, or data of anyone under 18.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry — based on your consent and our legitimate interest.
- To send a one-time acknowledgment after form submission — based on your consent.
- To prevent spam and abuse — based on legitimate interest.
- To understand site usage (analytics) — only after you consent.
We do not use your data for marketing campaigns and do not sell it.
Third-party processors
- Vercel — hosting and CDN.
- Resend — sending notification + acknowledgment emails.
- Microsoft 365 — receiving and storing emails sent to info@burjengineering.com.
- Google Analytics 4 (with consent) — aggregated visitor analytics.
Retention
- Contact submissions stored in our inbox: up to 24 months.
- Analytics data: 2 months (default).
- Salted-hash IPs in the rate limiter: 24 hours rolling.
- Server access logs (Vercel): 30 days.
Your rights
Under UAE PDPL (and equivalent laws), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing — and withdraw consent. Email info@burjengineering.com; we respond within 30 days.

HTTPS, modern TLS, DKIM/SPF on outbound mail, rate limiting, honeypot bot mitigation, salted-hash IP storage. We do not store passwords or financial information on this site.
